Spring is coming! As the sun comes out, the days get longer and we start to come out of hibernation, it’s time to rediscover all of the great activities that London has to offer! Here in The Capital, there are always so many amazing things to see and do - it can be overwhelming! So instead of hiding at home waiting to get back to work, I am on a mission to find the best activities in London! Here’s how I would spend my ideal Sunday exploring London:
1. Challenge my friends and have fun at Quiz Room

It’s time to get competitive! Take a short walk up to Quiz Room to meet up with all your friends for a cheeky drink before entering the spotlight in London’s best immersive trivia experience. If you like to get competitive, then this is the activity for you! I love that you really get the feeling that you are on a TV gameshow, without the pressure of being watched by millions of people. Buzz as quickly as you can and try to get as many points as possible, but watch out for those jokers! Try out the Original Quiz for the most variety of questions, or the Music Quiz if that’s your jam! My favourite is the Original Quiz, because you can have the option to add 10 custom questions to your quiz - perfect for bringing up all those inside jokes we had all forgotten about!
And even better - it’s only £20 per person! Quiz Room’s Sunday Special makes a great end to the week, whilst still leaving enough space in my wallet.
2. Window-shop around Borough Market

After tensions have run high, and everyone is mad at you for being too good at quizzes (sorry I guess!). As soon as you leave the tube at London Bridge, get sucked straight into the iconic Borough Market - a true local hero and foodie haven. With its over 1,000 years of history, it’s the perfect way to kick off the perfect Sunday! Take a walk around to see all the hand-crafted delicacies from Britain and all around the world. Don’t be like me - try to resist buying everything you see! Grab a pastry or two for the road - remember to fuel your body for a busy day ahead (at least that’s what I’ll tell myself as an excuse for eating doughnuts for lunch!).
3. Take a walk across Tower Bridge

Armed with sweet treats in hand, take a leisurely stroll over the mesmerising Tower Bridge, not to be confused with London Bridge! This iconic London landmark has been around since 1894, and is a great example of Victorian architecture in the city. See how many famous London landmarks you can see from over the river, and maybe stop for a quick selfie with what’s left of your pastry! Bonus points if you have to wait because there’s a boat passing through - which does happen sometimes!
4. Explore the Tower of London

As you cross Tower Bridge, you can’t help but be drawn towards the haunting beauty and history of the Tower of London - a real glimpse of what London must have been like before all the skyscrapers! Take a look up close, and learn about all the major historical events that occurred on this very soil since it was founded in 1066. Maybe even try and get a look at the world-famous Crown Jewels, or share the rest of your croissant with the Ravens that live there!
5. Dinner at Spitalfields Market

There’s no better way to cool down than with a well-deserved fancy dinner. Since the historic Spitalfields Market is only a 5 minute walk away, head over to one of the many amazing restaurants overlooking the market and grab a nice hot meal and glass of wine. Or choose from their large variety of street food stalls if that’s more your style! Take time to appreciate how much fun you have had today, and forgive that one friend for cheating in the quiz! Loser buys dessert? I think so...
Sounds like the perfect day out in London to me! Time for some much needed self-care before Monday comes…
